If you get single filament trun signals for the front, they won't serve as running lights. Unless, of course, you wire the wrong lead into the light, in which case they'll serve ONLY as running lights, and they won't flash (same as if you wire both hot leads into the light's positive side). If you want to run with the lights taht it sounds like you've got on hand (single filament), then just wire in the flasher lead and cut down& tape off the running light lead. Don't just let it dangle down and short out on whatever it finds!!!!!
